Welcome to Spin It Proud. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and any purchases made from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act.

1. The Basics

  • "We", "us", "our": Spin It Proud.
  • "You", "your": The customer or website user.
  • "Website": www.spinitproud.co.uk

2. Use of the Website
By accessing this site, you agree to comply with all applicable UK laws. You agree not to use the website for any fraudulent purposes, to transmit "spam," or to attempt to disrupt our systems. We reserve the right to cancel orders from suspected "flippers" or commercial resellers to ensure fair access for the collector community.

3. Orders & Pricing

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP (£). As an independent store, VAT is included where applicable.
  • Placing an Order: When you place an order, you are offering to purchase a product. Orders are subject to availability and price confirmation.
  • Contract Formation: An order confirmation email is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance. A legally binding contract is formed only when we send a Dispatch Confirmation email.
  • Errors: We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order prior to dispatch if an item was priced incorrectly or is no longer in stock.

4. Returns & Cancellations
We want you to love your records, but we understand that plans change. Full details can be found in our Refund Policy.

  • Cancellations: You may cancel an order before dispatch by emailing hello@spinitproud.co.uk.
  • Admin Fee: All "change of mind" cancellations or returns are subject to a 5% Administrative Fee (minimum £2.00 per item) to cover non-refundable processing and restocking fees.
  • The Gift Card Choice: You may choose a Gift Card for 100% of the full value of your order to waive this fee.
  • Change of Mind (14 Days): In line with UK law, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Items must be unopened and in their original factory seal.
  • The Seamless Shipping Exception: If you requested our "Seamless Shipping Option" (in which we unseal the record for you), the item is considered unsealed and ineligible for a change-of-mind return.

5. Shipping & Pre-Orders
We ship only in the UK using The Pride Protector mailers. Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.

  • Dispatch: We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within 24–48 hours. All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked.
  • The All-In-One Rule: Orders containing both "In-Stock" and "Pre-Order" items will be held and shipped together once the final record arrives in our vault.
  • Pre-Orders: Occasionally, there may be delays in receiving all pre-orders from our supplier. When this happens, we will email you with an update.
  • Supplier Cuts: If a label "cuts" our allocation, we will notify you and issue a 100% refund immediately. We are not liable for delays caused by external manufacturers or distributors.

6. Faulty or Damaged Items

  • Reporting: Any technical faults or transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to hello@spinitproud.co.uk.
  • Verification: Please include photos of the damage or a short video of the fault (e.g., a skip).
  • Resolution: We will provide a pre-paid return label and a full refund or replacement. No admin fees apply to faulty or damaged goods.

7. Gift Cards

  • Validity: Gift cards (including those issued as return credit) are valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
  • Delivery: Digital gift cards are typically delivered via email within 90 minutes of purchase.
  • Redemption: Valid for use only at spinitproud.co.uk.
  • Non-Transferable: Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Treat your code like cash; we are not responsible for lost or stolen codes.

8. Discounts & Promotions

  • Application: Codes must be applied at checkout. Only one discount code can be used per order unless otherwise stated.
  • Right to Withdraw: We reserve the right to amend or withdraw any promotion at any time.
  • Misuse: Orders that misuse discount codes will be cancelled and refunded.

9. You Spin It, We Stock It
We love hearing what you would like to find in the store. This service is designed to help us curate our collection based on your tastes. 

Please note:

  • No Guarantee: Submitting a request does not guarantee that we can source the item or add it to our stock.
  • No Obligation: A request is not a pre-order or a reservation. You are under no obligation to buy the item if we source it, and we are under no obligation to hold it specifically for you.
  • Notification: If we do source your requested item, we will notify you via the email provided. This data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is used solely for the purpose of your request.

10. Product Appearance
We aim for accuracy, but "mock-up" images are for illustrative purposes. Actual vinyl colours and effects (such as marbling) may vary. We do not warrant that the physical appearance will exactly match your screen's rendering.

11. Our Content & Branding
All content on this website, including the Spin It Proud branding, logo, text, and images, is our property or that of our suppliers. You may not copy or exploit any part of this site without our prior written permission.

12. Responsibility & The Fine Print

  • Our Responsibility: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spin It Proud is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the products in question.
  • Remaining Terms: If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable by a court, only that specific part will be removed. The rest will remain in full force and effect.
  • Updating the Rules: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website signifies your acceptance of any changes.

13. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Looking After Your Data
We treat your personal details with the same care we take with our record collection. If you ever have a concern about how we’re handling your info, please send us an email at hello@spinitproud.co.uk.

To keep things fair and transparent (and in line with the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), here is how we’ll handle any data concerns:

  1. We’ll let you know we’ve received your message within 30 days (usually much faster!).
  2. We’ll investigate your concern without unnecessary delay and keep you in the loop throughout.
  3. We’ll get back to you with a clear explanation of what we’ve found and how we’ve fixed it.
